Planet Caretakers, formally incorporated on February 24, 2021, is a non-profit association working on three fronts: preservation of the environment (trash collections and workshops on recycling and sustainability); support for people in need (campaigns to collect goods); and support for animals (helping with food and promoting the responsible adoption of animals in kennels).

Our Mission

Through the dynamism and monitoring of several teams of volunteers scattered throughout the country, we have actively sought to relieve the ecosystems by enhancing the recovery of its fauna and flora, as well as raising awareness among the population in general, about the urgency and importance of our acts and consumption habits for the Balance of Natural Resources and Biodiversity of the Planet.

Our Goals

Promote actions that contribute to halting and reversing environmental degradation and unsustainability in the use of natural resources, fostering sustainable development based on principles of consumption reduction, promotion of renewable energies and the circular economy with the aim of respecting the limits of the planet, its biodiversity and promoting equity and social cohesion.

Actively develop sustainability demonstrative projects and activators of social involvement, with their own initiatives or cooperating with other institutions in local and community development, in the social economy, and in the creation of environmental entrepreneurship.

Promote environmental citizenship by encouraging public participation and broad involvement of citizens through awareness-raising, training, and education actions for sustainability, recycling, and reuse of resources, always with the aim of contributing to sustainable and responsible production and consumption.
